Default behaviour
Staff who vanish with SuperVanish, PremiumVanish, or EssentialsX vanish are invisible to players in game, so ReplayCore keeps them invisible in replays too. By default a vanished player is excluded from the capture for the whole vanish window: the replay shows them despawning when they vanish and reappearing when they unvanish, exactly as players saw it.
Any other vanish plugin that sets the de-facto standard 'vanished' player metadata key is detected identically.
Configuration
Open Configuration Studio, choose the relevant workspace, category or server scope, then set Recording > Vanished players to Exclude or Record. Exclude is the default. The field is marked restart-required, so restart the affected recorder after the published configuration is delivered.
What exclusion covers
Exclusion suppresses the vanished player's position, pose, vitals, equipment, and inventory records. Chat lines and commands they produce remain subject to the separate privacy capture policy (content is redacted by default). Vanish and unvanish transitions land on the exact tick they happened in game.
The check is a single metadata lookup per player per tick and allocates nothing for normal players, so it has no measurable performance cost. A misbehaving vanish plugin can never abort the capture: a metadata read that fails is treated as not vanished.
