Plan retention windows
Each subscription plan includes a maximum replay retention window: 30 days on Starter, 60 days on Pro, and a custom window on Enterprise. A replay is stamped with a retention_until date when it is recorded, and becomes eligible for automatic purge after that date. Retention cannot be extended beyond your plan's maximum; upgrade your plan for a longer window.
Keeping less data
For stricter data minimisation, delete replays you no longer need from the panel; deletion is immediate, permanent, and frees the storage straight away. This is the recommended posture for servers likely to be used by children, and it pairs with the recorder's privacy-safe capture defaults (chat content and command arguments are not stored by default).
Interaction with erasure
Retention controls automatic, time-based deletion. It is independent of subject erasure: a valid erasure request is actioned on its own timeline regardless of how much of the retention window remains. Together, short retention and prompt erasure keep stored personal data to a minimum.
