Party plugins

Watch-party routing via PartyAndFriends, Parties, and compatible adapters.

What the integration does

The party-plugin adapter lets a watch command route an entire party into the same replay session, so a group can watch a match together. If no supported party plugin is present, the command degrades gracefully to a single-player watch with no visible error.

Supported plugins, in detection priority order, are PartyAndFriends (Marvell/Simonsator), Parties by AlessioDP, and ProxiedPartyAddon. When none is detected, ReplayCore uses a no-op adapter and routes the invoking player alone.

Detection

Detection runs once at process start and is cached. ReplayCore probes each supported plugin's companion HTTP bridge in priority order and selects the first whose /health endpoint returns 200 OK. Subsequent watch requests use the selected adapter.

Because detection is cached, install and start your party plugin before ReplayCore (or restart ReplayCore after enabling it) so the bridge is available when detection runs.

Party membership

When a player invokes the watch command, the adapter asks the party bridge for that player's online party members. If the player is in a party, all online members are routed to the same session. If the player is not in a party, the bridge returns a not-found result, which the adapter treats as an empty member list and routes the player solo. Any other bridge error is logged as a warning and the invoking player is routed alone.
